BIAC was founded in 1962 and is an independent international business association devoted to advising government policymakers at OECD on matters of importance to the business community. More information about BIAC is available on http://www.biac.org.
The BIAC Governance Committee contributes to the OECD’s work on regulatory policy and good public governance, with a view to improving the quality and impact of rule–making processes across sectors. It advocates pro–competitive, transparent, predictable and quality regulatory frameworks that support business, entrepreneurship and innovation with minimum administrative burden. The Governance Committee also addresses the regulatory dimension in other policy fields such as competition and market openness. More information about the committee is available on http://biac.org/policy-groups/public-governance.
