NNR Brings a Business Perspective to DBR-Meeting in Stockholm

At the June meeting of the Director and Exports on Better Regulation (DBR) in Stockholm, NNR organised one of the workshops bringing a business-perspective to the meeting. DBR is an informal inter-governmental network for those responsible for better regulation activities at national level in EU member states.

NNR Chairs BusinessEurope Round-table in Brussels

On 9 June the BUSINESSEUROPE Better Regulation Working Group hosted a round-table event in Brussels with Chairman of the German National Regulatory Council and Member of the High Level Group of Independent Stakeholders on Administrative Burdens, Dr Johannes Ludewig, Head of the Impact Assessment and Administrative Burden Reduction Programme Unit at the EU Commission, Directorate General Enterprise and Industry, Geneviève Pons-Deladrière and Director Regulatory Reform Group at the Dutch Ministry Finance Ministry of Economic Affairs, Jeroen Nijland.

International Regulatory Reform Conference 2009 in Stockholm

This year’s International Regulatory Reform Conference is included in the programme for the Swedish presidency of the European Council. The conference will be opened by Maud Olofsson, Swedish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Enterprise and Energy. The conference programme is about to be finalised and will be available in early July. The aim of the conference is to highlight and discuss successful regulatory simplification measures that have delivered intended results for stakeholders, and explore future better regulation initiatives.
